I stumbled upon this photo from this past year and I just wanted to share it because it’s probably one of my favorite “moments” from 2011. As the story goes, the kids were up in Lily’s room (3rd floor) and I was in the room putting away clothes. I agreed to open the finger paints (all washable, mind you) and they were so cute with their dainty finger painting that I dashed downstairs to get my new toy (my Canon Rebel T1i DSLR) and when I arrived back upstairs my 2-year-old had, in 45 seconds, gone from finger painting to face painting. When I walked through the door he looked at me for my reaction (which was utter shock). When I burst out laughing so did he. So I snapped a bunch of photos and created a collage in Picasa to remember this funny moment.

This is one of those photos that I am definitely going to keep for the future wife…perhaps even one of these days make a scrapbook with it.
